Acts 3: 19-21

(Acts 3: 19-21)

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Peter presents the way of salvation. Peter gave them new hope by giving them specific ways to do it. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Peter said, "Despite Pilate's judgment and defense of Jesus' innocence, the sins of the people who put Christ to death are greater, but do not be afraid and come boldly before God because God will have mercy on what they did not know. Repent and be forgiven of your sins."

Peter explained four things about salvation: ``Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; . Repentance is to realize that repent is a sinner, and to be converted, it means a change of life. Then the Lord will wash away sin. The Greek word for "the times of refreshing" is a combination of again and soul. The soul is renewed. When this happens, he sends Jesus, the predestined Savior. These words mean the Second Coming Jesus. The Lord comes when He restores all things. The restoration of all things refers to the time when people repent and are born again to restore the kingdom of God on this earth.

Jesus gave the parable of the field in Matthew's Gospel. The field is the world. Good seeds are the children of heaven. The tares are children of the evil one (Satan). The enemy who sowed the tares is Satan. People can't understand it, but it is that the angels in Heaven were already proud, corrupted, and driven out. That is why they send angels to the end of the world to come to harvest. First, the Lord does so at the end of the world, just as the tares are harvested and burned. There are children of heaven and children of the wicked in the world. The children of heaven in the world must restore the kingdom of the Lord. The restoration of all things on this earth becomes a new creation.

The Lord made the way of salvation on this earth. The first begins is repentance. Repentance is returning to the Lord. Repentance is to forsake sin and die. There is something important between forsaking sin (repentance) and receiving forgiveness of sins, and that is be converted. It is the grace that the Lord gives.

Those who repent open their spiritual eyes and find themselves in spiritual darkness. So, it means going into the light. No matter how much you study the Bible until you open your eyes, there is no way to know the will of the Lord. You cannot even meet the Lord. Worship is not repentance, but the heart of the repentant. If you don't repent, you don't see with your eyes, you just listen with your ears.

Who will be saved if the Lord does not show pity? However, those who repent will be saved. The Lord sent the prophet Nathan to pity David, who murdered, committed adultery, and lied. It is to give you an opportunity to repent. All sinners have an opportunity to repent. However, without taking the opportunity, it is flowing like a river. The Lord did not show pity on Saul, who returned without killing Amalek. In front of the Jabbok River, the Lord had pity on Jacob and struck Jacob's heart. It is to give you an opportunity to repent. All sinners can seize the opportunity to repent, but it is God's unknown mercy that gives them the opportunity to repent.
