Acts 1: 1-5

(Acts 1: 1-5)

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,  Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:  To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

The book of Acts begins by referring to the record of Luke's Gospel. At the beginning of the book of Acts, the book of Acts refers to what is recorded in Luke and the 40 days of Jesus' actions from resurrection to ascension recorded at the end of Luke. It shows that the book of Acts is naturally connected with the Gospel of Luke. In addition, the resurrected Jesus tells us that the theme that the resurrected Jesus taught his disciples for 40 days was the kingdom of God, which implicitly shows that the center of the development of the book of Acts is also about the kingdom of God.

Witnesses who saw Jesus' resurrection firsthand were killed while preaching the resurrection. The witnesses of the resurrection preached the work of the kingdom of God. However, God has hidden the work of the kingdom of God. The resurrected Jesus explained the work of the kingdom of God for 40 days, but it was not written in the Bible. The work of the cross made the work of the cross visible and understandable, but the resurrection showed no other than 400 people who repented and followed Jesus from start to finish.

Paul said, "Everyone wants to be saved." But the resurrection was not shown to anyone. Ascension was seen by fewer people. Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Jesus must be the Lord. If you believe that God raised Jesus to life, you will be saved, but He did not show the resurrection to anyone. People today overlook this fact.

The Lord invited all the people to the king's wedding feast. However, the Bible says that no one came. The only kingdom the king invited, but no one comes to is the kingdom of God. If the king of this world invites you, who will not go? This wedding feast is a wedding feast that does not exist in this world. The parable of the prodigal son in Luke's Gospel is famously recounted without this word being told. This is what the son returns to his father. Romans 1-3 say that humans do not return to God themselves.

Today, when people come to church and decide that they will believe in Jesus, the church declares that they are saved. This is a false Gospel that is spoken by properly connecting verses that people will like. So, it became a burdenless Jesus, a convenient Jesus. If you don't give all your life, you're not a serious Jesus you can't meet. I just broke a part of my life and became a Jesus that I could only meet within that part and manipulate it. This Jesus is not the one who saved us, but another Jesus. The Jesus of salvation is a Jesus that cannot be met unless I give my all.

The church preaches and believes in another Jesus. How can we know the kingdom of God, and can such a church become the kingdom of God? You cannot enter the kingdom of God unless you are born again with water and the Holy Spirit. It is the Lord Himself who wants it. He told Nicodemus about what Jesus preached for 40 days until His resurrection and ascension. You cannot enter the kingdom of God unless you are born again with water and the Holy Spirit. Nicodemus believed that Jesus was the Son of God and came to Jesus that night. Nicodemus did not accept being born again, and Jesus was alive and never met again.

We also believe in the Lord. However, there is a possibility that you will not accept what the Lord said. In John 8:31, those who believed in Jesus came to Jesus, which means the following. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Those who repent and are regenerated with water and the Holy Spirit will become unbearable unless they preach the work of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is known when you become one with Jesus, and the kingdom of God comes into it. The purpose of preaching the gospel is to make people repent. This is because when you repent and return to God, the image of God is restored and the kingdom of God comes. It is true that Jesus, who became a dead body by being crucified, is the person who is called I and that we must preach the Gospel. Only those who realize this can repent. Today we see the word repentance applied at any time.
